Thing15 RSS revisited

I think Google reader is a great idea, but I'm not sure that I have the time to check it throughout the day. I think I should think of one or two sites that I am the most interested in and keep to those. For example, I should choose one news source that I like to check and stick with it. I guess I would compare this to Facebook except with real news. I have friends that are constantly updating their "status" or posting videos/ pictures. I'm lucky to check one a day, or to post an update once a week!

  1. I have said this to other people too but look at iGoogle. You make it your homepage and you can centralize all of your web data. Pretty cool and something I think everyone should look at and play with.

  2. I did a similar thing to what Skip is talking about with MyYahoo. I use it as my login page when I boot up my internet. That way I can glance at all of my RSS feeds, my email, and if the Detroit Tigers are playing all on one page.

  3. I hadn't thought about making it my home page! Right now, my main e-mail account is not google, but since I've been taking this class, I have been using it a lot more. Maybe I should change everything over to google!

How do I select google as my permanent home page?
